Planted on the Smoky Hills, Coyoté Oaks 5-acre organic vineyard includes Chardonel, Chambourcin, Cynthiana, Aphrodite, Cabernet Doré, and Crimson Cabernet grapes with a 3-acre orchard. Glacier’s Edge Vineyard

At the edge of a glacial moraine, between the Kansas and Wakarusa Rivers in Shawnee County is Glacier’s Edge Vineyard. We currently have 6 acres of grapes with 2 acres in full production. Plantings include Cynthiana, Chardonelle, Vignole, Foch, Traminette, Noiret, Chambourcin, Vidal Blanc and Catawba. We are the proud suppliers of grapes to Middle Creek Winery. Highland Community College Vineyard

The Highland Community College vineyard is located northeast of Wamego, KS, one-half mile west of the intersection of Oregon Trail Road and Onaga Road. The vineyard is roughly 1.25 acres and consists of mostly Chambourcin (red) and Traminette (white) vines. HCC also planted a single row of some varieties as an experiment including Vignoles, Nebbiolo (Italian variety) and some Vitis vinifera: Riesling, Chardonnay, and Lemberger. Since 2002. Kanza Vineyards is located in NE Dickinson county (western edge of the Flint Hills) near Chapman, Kansas, along I-70. Varieties: Chambourcin, Vignoles, Cabernet Franc.

Prairie Ridge Vineyards

Prairie Ridge Vineyards is located just East of St. George, Kansas, overlooking the beautiful Flint Hills. Established in 1981 by James Fair, current owners Dale "Dee" Jr. and Janet Forge purchased the vineyard in 1993. They have since increased the size to 18 acres and produce over eight different wine grape varieties . Great wines come from outstanding grapes, and this is what Dee and Janet strive to provide the wineries of Kansas. Sierra Vista Vineyards

We began the vineyard in 2002 and are now producing several varieties of grapes including, St Vincent, Rougeon, Seyval Blanc, Chambourcin, and Geishenheim. Vinland de la Cairns

Vinland de la Cairns is located southwest of Topeka near the town of Dover on the eastern edge of the Flint Hills. Our first plantings were in 1992 and now we have 22 varieties of grapes on 2 1/2 acres ranging from the old standby Concord, to seedless table grapes, and some true wine grapes like Cabernet, Pinot Noir, and Merlot.

Wild Hare

Located 5 miles south of Lawrence, Wild Hare Vineyard has about 800 vines on just over an acre, planted in 2007 and 2008 with Cynthiana (Norton), Traminette and Steuben. First harvest is expected in the fall of 2009. If the quality of the grapes proves to be good, the owners plan to expand the vineyard operation and build a winery.
